We have been farming beef cattle for 2 decades now. Starting with an array of cross bred cattle, then pure bred pedigree Charolais and more recently, pedigree Belted Galloway cattle.

With the higher expenses of feeding, maintaining and housing Charolais cattle each year, we searched for other(less stressful) breeds. We liked many of the characteristics of the Belted Galloway cattle. They are easy keepers, good mothers, naturally polled and produce wonderful lean meat.

We have recently replaced a number of our Charolais cattle with Belted Galloways. Protected by two layers of hair coat(perfect for Irish weather), the Galloway has no need of a thick layer of fat to conserve heat. As a result, they produce low-cholesterol, lean, natural meat, free from antibiotics and commercial feeds.

Our aim is to produce high quality pedigree cattle with gentle temperaments that perform both in the show ring and in the pasture.
